Bee Symbol:  Aerodynamically the bee's body is too large for its wings and should not be able to fly, so

  the bee symbolizes accomplishing the impossible.

 

                                                                I first learned about the bee symbolism from a customer who ordered a                                                                             couple hundred of our Honey Bee Ficklets. She planned to give them as gifts                                                                     to guests at one of their company events. She shared with me the bee had a                                                                     special significance for her and wanted to pass on the inspirational message.                                                                        

                                                                Serendipitously, a couple weeks later I received a beautiful bee pendant for                                                                       my birthday from my dear friend, Dawn. She said it was also a congratulatory                                                                   gift for landing our first major retail account. Dawn asked "Do you know what                                                                   the bee symbolizes?" I nodded to covey I did. She then said

                                                                "Here's to the naysayers, Ros... YOU DID IT!" (I teared up,

                                                                of course)

                                                                    

                                                                Since then, the bee symbol has shown up regularly in

                                                                various ways (no stings, thankfully) and has become an

                                                                inspirational symbol for me as well.
